For sure, Davos attracts skiers from all over the world. It offers 6 moutain peaks with heaps of diversified ski slopes. You can choose from six ski areas: Jakobshorn, Parsenn-/Gotschna area and three family friendly areas called Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn. Furthermore, Schatzalp/Strela offers a nostalgic ‚slow ski area’, the only one in Europe.

Jakobshorn is escpecially made for boarders and free skiers, who want to have fun with halfpipes and fun parks. Many international championships take place there, too, and it is also a spot for good aprés ski parties.

Opposing, the wide ski area called Parsenn Davos Klosters - which is accessible from Davos and Klosters - is situated. There is a common ski pass available and of course ski slopes of all levels. Here you will find the longest ski run in Europe, starting from Weissfluhgipfel (peak) going down to Küblis in approx. 12 km. The train will conveniently take you back to Davos. The ski pass of Davos (called Regionalpass) includes all mountain operations except the ones at the ski area Schatzalp, which are run privately. Of course partial ski passes are available.

The mountains Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn are best suitable for families. Kids can make their first steps on the ski runs there.

Schatzalp-Strela-Railways Davos have created a "slowing down ski area" with soft hills. This ski area is situated on the sunny side of Davos and easily accessible from Davos Platz via funicular in only 4 minutes. Of course, Davos offers also a wide net of cross-country ski tracks and other activities such as snow shoe hiking and toboggan runs.
