Les Houches (1008m)

Situated at the beginning of the Chamonix valley and just 7 kilometres from the famous resort, Les Houches is the venue for the Ski World Cup and other competitions every year, where the heroes of downhill, carving and telemark skiing plunge down the white slopes. However, they are unlikely to have an eye for this impressive scenery. Snow-covered descents through fir and larch forests down into the valley, with the authentic mountain village and its authentic chalets around the village centre. And everything is overlooked by the largest mountain in Europe - Mont Blanc. In addition to skiing, Les Houches offers all kinds of activities, from dog sledding to paragliding.
