San Vigilio is a popular ski and tourist resort in the Dolomites. It is located in the Marebbe Valley and is the gateway to the Nature Park and hiking paradise of Fanes-Senes-Braies. The village is part of the the famous Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) ski area, know for its perfect ski conditions and slopes. It offers 116 km of slopes and 31 modern lifts. In this region, the Ladin language and tradion is maintained. By car or ski bus you have access to Alta Badia -like the Kronplatz / Plan de Corones also part of Dolomiti Superski- with its world-famous ski circuit of Sella Ronda. With the Dolomiti Superski Pass you can discover different ski slopes every day plenty and enjoy the great range of the Dolomites resorts. For cross-country skiers there are around 20 km of trails available, for example, the romantic Rautal trail. Illuminated toboggan run in San Vigilio.
