Chamonix Mont-Blanc (950m -
3842m)
Haute-Savoie | France
Altitude 950 - 3.842 m
The large resort of Chamonix, where the first olympic winter games took place in 1924, is situated in the middle of a winter wonderland at the bottom of the Mont Blanc. The oldest ski station of the Alps has always been attracted by skiers from all over the world. Unique is the number of challenging ski slopes. Definitely the highlight is the „Vallée Blanche“ down from Aiguille du Midi (3842m), probably the most famous ski run in the world (2800 meters of difference in height, 20 km long!). For this ski run a guide is compulsory. Most of our accommodations are situated only a couple of meters away from the cable car station Aiguille du Midi, in the lively area of Chamonix South. There is the ski bus stop that takes you to the ski areas Le Brévent-La Flégère and The Grand Montets-Agentière.
Discounts of up to 45% on ski and snowboard rental are available at our partner company SKISET Chamonix. You can book online directly on
